Becoming a COSPA Observer

This should be either a Public Body (e.g. University, governmental agencies, local authorities, public administrations, etc.), or a commercial organisation operating in the ICT sector.

This ICT experience should include the development and usage of open source solutions with a proven record or commitment to implement and exploit OSS. Eligibility is not automatic. Authorisation from all the partners of the Consortium is required.

Free access to all the internal documentation and deliverables, except those classified as Confidential.
- Free access to project meetings.
- Participation in COSPA's pilot projects for the introduction of Open Source Software in the Public Administration.

- To give permit to the COSPA consortium to list your organisation as a COSPA observer in dissemination events.
- To promote public awareness about the activities of COSPA and other OSS activities.
- To share your own knowledge and experiences about transition to Open Source, whenever possible.
