COSPA future commitment

The COSPA Project finished officially the 30th of June 2006, after a 6-months extension.

The COSPA brand will still be alive in the next months, in order not to loose all the effort that has been generated by the consortium partners.

The second set of COSPA deliverables is available online

The second set of COSPA Deliverables has been released and is available online for download. Specifically, the following deliverables:

• D3.1 - Framework for evaluating returns/losses of the transition to ODS/OS, including the key criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the transition to OS/ODS
• D4.1 - Identification of the training and administrative support needs and issues for the adoption of the identified OS applications and environments
• D6.1 - Report evaluating the costs/benefits of a transition towards ODS/OS for each key task related to personal productivity used in the PAs under study

ODF Alliance as COSPA Observer

ODF Alliance (http://www.odfalliance.org/) joined the COSPA Community as Observer.

The Alliance aims at estabilishing open data standards for Public Administration electronic documents data exchange purposes.

Consequently, COSPA became one of the partners of the ODF Alliance. We hope the decision will be the basis for a fruitful collaboration.

• D2.4/5 - Analysis of Requirements for OS/ODS Applications in the Public Administration

• D4.3 - Experience report on the implementation of OS applications in the partner PAs
• D5.1 - Definition of the target ODS
• D5.2 - Database Migration
