Experimentation
The COSPA experimentation focuses on analyzing quantitatively
how people use OS tools, especially whether the introduction has changed
the effectiveness of people at work, has motivated employees or has caused
disruption in the administrative process activities.
The first phase of the experimentation focuses on OpenOffice.org.
The data is collected using qualitative data (questionnaires) and quantitative
data collected with PROM. PROM (PRO
Metrics) is a tool developed by Prof. Succi over the last few years
to evaluate the effort spent on documents.
The following PAs involved in the experimentation include full
partners of COSPA and subcontractors of COSPA (PAs
involved for a specific task with a specific contractual obligation).
